FRIENDS OF SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA
RELEASES 2023 ANNUAL REPORT

ABINGDON, Va. (Tuesday, February 13, 2023) – The Southwest Virginia Cultural Heritage Foundation and the Friends of Southwest Virginia have released their 2023 Annual Report. The report outlines the regional economic impact of community and tourism development initiatives, regional marketing and branding, updates to the Southwest Virginia Cultural Center, and updates with ‘Round the Mountain Artisan Network and The Crooked Road.

“Southwest Virginia experienced advancements in the community development and tourism sectors last year. As an organization, we are delighted to have collaborated with our incredible regional partners, playing an integral role in fostering the expansion of the creative economy,” said Kim Davis, Executive Director of the Southwest Virginia Cultural Heritage Foundation and Friends of Southwest Virginia. “This report outlines numerous initiatives and projects that create immense pride, whether unveiled in the preceding year or nearing their final stages of completion.”
