Giles Breaks Ground on Newest Public Boat Landing


On June 28th, Friends of Southwest Virginia and Giles County broke ground on the Mary Draper Ingles Boat Launch that will allow river goers convenient access to the New River.  This new access point will be a part of the New River Water Trail.  The development of the new boat landing is just one of eight construction projects funded by the Appalachian Regional Commission POWER program.
